Step 1
Open the plugin installer
In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New Plugin.
On WordPress the widget ships as the Handrail Accessibility Widget plugin — same open-source widget, with every file served from your own site. No code, no account, no CDN.
Download the plugin ZIP from the WordPress.org plugin page, then in your admin go to Plugins
→ Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin and choose the file.
Handrail is the WordPress edition of the AccessibleWeb Widget — like a real handrail: quiet support that helps without claiming to fix the building. The plugin bundles the widget script, the OpenDyslexic font, and the optional audit engine with your site, so nothing is loaded from external servers and nothing is tracked. It is free and open source (MIT), with no paid tier.
